U.B.C Paul55, Wild West Pistol / Rifle Competition In Memory of Paul Coates Competition open from October 1st - 31st Pistol Colt SAA, Crosman ‘Cowboy’, S&W Schofield pellet or bb (4.5 and 6mm) Any other type of Revolver is allowed, so All can enter, though ‘Cowboy’ preferred. ALL Pistols have to be used Single Action and Manually Cocked for each shot. Range 6yds standing, 1 handed only Round 1: Quick Draw 6 shots Pistol in hand muzzle to floor with hammer down At the start signal raise the pistol, cock and fire 1 shot at the target in 2 seconds Rest with muzzle to floor and hammer down for 5 to 10 seconds Repeat for a further 5 shots until cylinder is empty Anything outside the 7 ring but on the silhouette scores 2 Outside the silhouette scores 0 Round 2: The Posse 6 shots Pistol in hand muzzle to floor with hammer down At the start signal raise the pistol, cock and fire 1 shot at each bad guy in 10 seconds If you miss a bad guy you can use your 6th shot to try and hit him again If you hit all the bad guys with your first 5 shots then you stop If you hit a bad guy twice then you lose the score for that target Anything outside the 7 ring but on the silhouette scores 5 Outside the silhouette scores 0 All scoring is inward Rifle Umarex lever action, Daisy Red Ryder or any ‘Winchester’ type lever action rifle Round 1: Quick Draw Course of fire as pistol but 8 shots on target Round 2: The Posse Course of fire as pistol but 5 shots only, one on each target, no follow up shots allowed You can enter as many times with different Cowboy Airguns as you like All Scores to be sent to Paddy via: [email protected] |
